Gender Affirming Federal ID

The LGBTQ Foundation of Kansas is offering support for Kansas residents who need an affirming ID with a gender marker that represents who they are. Due to a change in Kansas law in 2023, federal IDs are the only option that allows queer Kansans to carry ID that reflects a gender that does not match what they were assigned at birth.

Inclusivity Training Resources for Organizations

The LGBTQ+ Foundation of Kansas offers Queer Made Easy, a course that covers the history of the LGBTQ+ movement, pronouns, vocabulary, chosen names, and common questions about the LGBTQ+ community. This course is intended for businesses, law enforcement, and other organizations that want to help their employees navigate queer issues and ensure inclusivity in their daily operations. Please contact us for more information! We also offer a condensed version of the course as a DEI continuing education credit through Canvas. The full course is a 4-hour session that includes time to ask questions and discuss openly. The course can be done over video remotely, but is most effective when presented in-person. Please reach out to discuss pricing.
